According to sources, Happy Dead Day will follow Tree Gelbman (Rothe) as she’s once again thrust into a nightmarish cycle of deaths, only this time,
the stakes are far higher and the killers even more twisted. The movie aims to capture the horror-comedy mix that fans loved in the original but with a more mature, gritty edge,
bringing new scares and psychological thrills. Production is rumored to begin early next year, with an anticipated release in late 2025.
