Did you remember this part?
Anchored by the original stars Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Melissa McCarthy, Rose Byrne, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and Ellie Kemper, this highly anticipated sequel takes the outrageous antics to a whole new level. Directed by comedy visionary Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, Spy), the film promises to deliver the same laugh-out-loud moments and heartfelt friendship that made the first movie a classic.
This time, the story follows Annie (Wiig) and Lillian (Rudolph) as they reunite for Lillian’s vow renewal ceremony at a luxurious tropical resort. What starts as a picture-perfect destination wedding quickly spirals into chaos when a series of mishaps, misunderstandings, and unexpected guests threaten to derail the event. From a runaway bridal bouquet to a disastrous bachelorette party on a yacht, the group finds themselves in increasingly absurd situations that test their patience, friendship, and ability to survive a wedding weekend like no other.
Melissa McCarthy returns as the scene-stealing Megan, who now runs her own unconventional wedding planning business and brings her unique brand of chaos to the festivities. Rose Byrne reprises her role as Helen, who is determined to outshine everyone with her over-the-top contributions to the event. Meanwhile, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper bring their signature comedic energy as Rita and Becca, who find themselves tangled in decorations, tropical wildlife, and a few too many cocktails.

The film also introduces a new cast of characters, including a charming yet mysterious wedding singer played by Oscar® nominee Adam Driver (Marriage Story, Star Wars), and a no-nonsense resort manager portrayed by Emmy winner Jean Smart (Hacks, Mare of Easttown). Together, they add fresh dynamics and unexpected twists to the story.
Bridesmaids Part 2: The Wedding Chaos Returns is written by Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo, the Oscar®-nominated duo behind the original film, and produced by Judd Apatow (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Trainwreck). The film is executive produced by Paul Feig and Barry Mendel, with a soundtrack featuring a mix of nostalgic hits and new tracks to set the tone for the wildest wedding weekend of the year.
Get ready to laugh, cry, and cringe as the bridesmaids take on their most chaotic adventure yet. Bridesmaids Part 2: The Wedding Chaos Returns hits theaters Summer 2025.
