Tyler Perry Studios Announces the Highly Anticipated Sequel to the Psychological Thriller Acrimony
ATLANTA, GA – Tyler Perry Studios is thrilled to announce the official release of Tyler Perry’s Acrimony 2: The Reckoning, the long-awaited sequel to the 2018 psychological thriller Acrimony. Starring Academy Award-nominated actress Taraji P.
Henson and Lyriq Bent, the film promises to deliver an even more intense, emotionally charged, and suspenseful story that will leave audiences on the edge of their seats. The film is set to hit theaters nationwide on April 25, 2025.
A New Chapter in the Story of Betrayal and Revenge
Tyler Perry’s Acrimony 2: The Reckoning picks up five years after the events of the first film, which saw Melinda (Taraji P. Henson) consumed by rage and betrayal after her ex-husband Robert (Lyriq Bent) moved on to a new life of wealth and success.
