Breaking Bad: The Final Chapter

A legacy reignited. This fall, over a decade after the groundbreaking series Breaking Bad concluded with its unforgettable finale, the iconic saga returns with Breaking Bad: The Final Chapter.

Anchored by Emmy® and Golden Globe® winner Bryan Cranston and Emmy® winner Aaron Paul, this explosive new chapter reunites fans with Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in a high-stakes story that delves into the aftermath of their chaotic empire.

Joining them are Academy Award® nominee Anna Gunn, Emmy® nominee Dean Norris, and Critics Choice Award winner Bob Odenkirk, reprising their iconic roles.

Directed by visionary filmmaker Denis Villeneuve (DuneBlade Runner 2049) and written by Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, The Final Chapter picks up five years after the events of the series finale. The world believes Walter White is dead, but a shocking discovery reveals that his legacy—and his empire—are far from buried. When a new methamphetamine strain, eerily similar to Heisenberg’s signature blue formula, surfaces in Europe, it sets off a chain reaction that forces Jesse Pinkman out of hiding and back into a world he thought he’d left behind.

Cranston returns as Walter White, whose shadow looms large over the story, even as his true fate remains a mystery. Paul reprises his role as Jesse Pinkman, now living under a new identity in Alaska, but drawn back into the fray when he learns that his past may not be as buried as he hoped.

Gunn returns as Skyler White, still grappling with the fallout of Walter’s actions, while Norris reprises his role as Hank Schrader’s brother-in-law, DEA agent Steve Gomez, who uncovers a conspiracy that ties the new drug wave to Heisenberg’s empire. Odenkirk returns as the cunning lawyer Saul Goodman, now living under his own alias, but forced to confront his past when Jesse tracks him down for help.

The film also introduces new characters, including Emmy® nominee Florence Pugh (OppenheimerBlack Widow) as a relentless Interpol agent determined to dismantle the new drug network, and Golden Globe® winner Oscar Isaac (DuneEx Machina) as a mysterious cartel leader with ties to Walter’s past.

Breaking Bad: The Final Chapter is a gripping tale of redemption, revenge, and the enduring consequences of choices made in the pursuit of power. As Jesse and Saul navigate a dangerous web of old enemies and new threats, they must confront the ghosts of their past and decide whether to finally break free—or embrace the chaos one last time.

The film is directed by Villeneuve from a script by Gilligan, based on characters created by Gilligan. It is produced by Gilligan, Cranston, and Mark Johnson, with executive producers including Peter Gould (Better Call Saul) and Melissa Bernstein (El Camino).

Breaking Bad: The Final Chapter premieres exclusively on Netflix this fall. Prepare for the endgame.
